The 2012 season started!  We had a very cold and fun day a the ballpark.  We want to thank Libby Duncan for a great National Anthem and also Brian Foust for being our parade marshall and throwing out the first pitch.

A special thanks to the board members and people that volunteered that made this day such a success!

Anyone with pictures please email those to me and I will get them on the website!

Sponsors,

        The board
, families, and kids of the Galveston Youth League want to express our sincere gratitude for your continued support of our program. Without sponsors like you, it would not be possible to make such a lasting impact on the amount of kids that we do every year. The league continues to be a landmark in our rural community for children to come in the spring and summer for little to no cost and enjoy the “Great American Past Time”. Our jerseys, equipment and facility costs are mainly covered by our team sponsors and annual fundraisers. The only cost required by the children is a one time fee of $25 to $40 based on the child’s age, far less than most other leagues. We feel this is very important that every child be able to take part in this, no matter their family’s financial position, especially in this time of economic recession. As mentioned, this can only be done with the continued support from businesses within our community that have the same visions to see our children grow socially, physically, and emotionally through this great sport.  Attached is a form that offers the different tiers of sponsorship. Please consider what you might be able  to do this year, and understand that every dollar is appreciated. If you have any questions, please contact us at kdixon@beckshybrids.com   or steve.rudd@carrier.utc.com
